Paperworld has revealed the up-and-coming trends that will influence the paper, office supplies and stationery sector.
Commissioned by Paperworld, consultants at trend bureau bora.herke.palmisano identified the main drivers in the worlds of fashion and architecture, as well as in product and furniture design, which aims to help the retail trade and its suppliers find inspiration for product development.
The predominant themes for the coming season are:
Graphic Vitality – sporty and functional with intense colours;
Essential Serenity – minimalistic and matter of fact; and
Floral Liberty – extravagant and playful.
Visitors to Paperworld 2016, held in Frankfurt, Germany from 30 January to 2 February, will be able to visit the Trend Show where the three trend scenarios will be presented in lectures and conducted tours in both English and German by the designer, Claudia Herke.
The Trend Show will be held in a new location next year – in the walkway from Hall 5.1 to Hall 6.1.
