Adam unveils Warrior washdown scales at Africa’s Big Seven/SAITEX and makes donation for new building at Rwandan school
Adam Equipment, a world-class scale and balance developer and manufacturer introduced its new line of Warrior washdown scales at Africa’s Big Seven 2012.
The Warrior is taking the science of weighing to new levels of strength and performance. These robust scales are well-suited for the food industry and pharmaceutical processing, and ideal for the production line or for clean-room environments.
The Warrior’s 304-grade stainless steel construction and AE-402 indicator are IP 66 rated, meaning the Warrior is protected against heavy dust and wet environments. Rubber feet with stainless steel threads ensure stability during weighing. The indicator is adjustable and rotates 360 degrees. Three LEDs streamline check-weighing to show if the weight is below, at or above the desired weight and the capacity tracker warns of pending overloads. The LCD is brightly backlit and boasts 40mm-high digits. The keypad is designed for efficiency, with large, color-coded keys for easy recognition.
Designed with intuitive features, the Warrior series is comprehensive, featuring seven models with capacities from 8 to 150kg, and readabilities from 0.5 to 10g. Warrior scales weigh in grams, kilograms, pounds, ounces, pounds/ounces and newtons. These scales offer selectable multi-language text for printing. Applications include weighing, parts counting, percentage weighing, dynamic/animal weighing, check weighing and check counting.
The RS-232 bi-directional interface facilitates speedy communication with computers and printers. Power is supplied by an adapter or the built-in rechargeable battery, while automatic external calibration is standard.
In celebration of 40 years as a global provider of scales and balances, Adam Equipment has made a financial contribution to a UK charity to build an eight-classroom primary school block in Rwanda. Adam already has presented the first installment to fully cover the cost of the additional primary school building for The Star School, located in the Masaka village on the outskirts of Kigali, Rwanda’s capital.
The building is scheduled for completion in January 2013, in time for the new term. To learn more about the project, visit www.adamequipment.com/40yearsproject.
